Sadaqah Smile organizes projects worldwide to improve the living conditions of the needy. Supporting these needy people without discrimination is an important motive of ours. We strive for a better world for the people who live in pain and misery on a daily basis. Prior to our projects we conduct a thorough investigation to ensure that the people are helped in the best way possible. We believe that awareness is an essential part of making change. Sadaqah Smile shares footage on social media to portray the different conditions of the underprivileged communities on our globe.

Sadaqah Smile raises its income through donations on our website and third-party sponsorships. Our social media is used to promote fundraisers. All donations are used exclusively for project costs. We have set up a separate pot to ensure our 100% donation policy. Donors can become members to provide a monthly contribution to fund the projects and expenses which includes website, production and travel costs. Board members receive no compensation/remuneration for their work and/or attendance fee. Each year an annual and financial report is published on the website.

Sadaqah Smile organizes projects for the needy in various countries. Our target group consists of orphans, widows, refugees, homeless, diseased and similar people in need. Our projects are based on different themes centered on providing basic needs. To achieve our goal, the focus will be on the following four themes;

Sadaqah Smile organizes fundraisers with the aim of providing food to the poor in different areas around the world. We put together food packages consisting of essential nutritions for daily life. We also build water wells in villages to provide clean water which is necessary for daily consumption.

Good health care is essential to stand on both feet and improve quality of life. Unfortunately, not everyone has access to this luxury. Take a look at the economic condition in many developing countries where people die of diseases that are no longer a threat to us. They live too far away from a hospital or cannot afford the necessary care. Due to lack of hygiene such as clean drinking water and safe toilets, people are at great risk of infectious diseases like malaria, typhoid and other WASH-related illnesses. Sadaqah Smile aims to provide medical supplies in areas of high need. This includes medication, face masks, wheelchairs, reading glasses, covering healthcare expenses and other medical necessities.

We believe that education is an essential part of development for both the individual and society as a whole. For this reason, knowledge should be easily accessible to everyone. It is not without reason that it is one of the global goals (SDGs). Knowledge is the key to ensure that people can continue developing themselves. It is a vital investment for the future generations. Sadaqah Smile wants to contribute to this investment sufficiently by providing necessary educational resources. Think of school supplies, offering workshops, sponsoring educational expenses and other resources that facilitate access to education and knowledge.

Many poor people worldwide are going through daily life without appropriate clothing such as shirts, shoes, underwear and socks. Clothes are often worn out or not fitting. In many cold countries hats, winter coats and scarves to keep warm are not a standard. In some cases, this can even be life-threatening. By collecting/purchasing clothing, Sadaqah Smile wants to lend a helping hand to these people.
