The winter season brings with it many difficulties. Every year, millions of needy people around the world struggle with the cold winter. A central heating system, blankets and warm clothes are basic luxuries that are not a natural standard for everyone. The outcome is sad for both young and old. Think of families trying to survive in houses without any form of insulation. Or children with limited clothing provision. The cold of these harsh winters can also result in cases of illness and, at worst, death.

Sadaqah Smile’s plan for the coming winter is to provide needy families and children with winter packages. This package consists of essential supplies to get through this cold winter. The winter packs will be distributed in Morocco, in the Temsamane area. Temperatures here are lower than in the inner city, and can drop below -15°C. Combined with poverty and poor infrastructure, these cold and rainy days become even harder to endure this winter.
